Advice for beginners: Get a good training plan, honest workout partners (ie, depth calls), good fitting gear, no max lifts in the gym and open light.

Tell us the most recent impulsive thing you've done? Nadda. Nothing of recent, last big thing I did was buy my house on an impulse and that was 6 years ago.
