Sports prior to powerlifting:
"
I played soccer for 8 years, basketball for 5 years, volleyball for 2 years, and track for 1 year. Giving up these sports was hard for me, but I decided I needed to focus my time on Powerlifting if I wanted to excel. My first year lifting I played soccer and basketball, my second year I played only basketball, and my third year I ran track. My fourth year lifting I played soccer for a couple months. I'm currently only doing Powerlifting. (Have been competing 4 years)

Who has had the most impact on your career:
"
My coach, Tod Miller. He makes up my workouts and plans everything for me. He pushes me to train harder. He's there to open the weight room for his daughters and I on Saturdays and holidays. And he is always there to fix any problems with my technique. I can't forget the he'll never fail to let me know that my cheeks are getting fat again, I need to stop eating so much. He is a great coach!

What lifter(s) do you really look up to:
"
I look up to all off the older lifters on the team. When I see them lifting it proves to me that I can still do this well with lifting and have a career or a family of my own in the future. Their success makes me train harder, for that I thank all of them.
