Tyson Greene: Missouri's Best lifter
100+ lifters were wowed by the meet performance of Tyson Greene on Saturday March 10th, as he captured yet another Missouri State powerlifting title and also best lifter honors.
The meet was ran by Harold Gaines and USA Powerlifting of Missouri, and ran like clockwork with computerized scoring, E-R style combo racks and a pace that left our gritty spotters and loaders sweating.
Three more lifters qualified for the this Summer's Mens Nationals that will be in St. Louis. They were SHW Donovan "Gator" Garris, 242 lbers Chad Holmes, and Brady Stewart. All exceeded the stratospheric qualifying totals required to gain entrance into the USAPL Mens Nationals.
Best Master lifter was Mike Lawson and best Teenage lifter was Curt McDonald, both from the Belleville Weightlifting Club in nearby Belleville, IL. 16 year old Anna Bailey of Cape Girardeau, MO was the best Female lifter.
