Directions
Ok, here are the much promised directions and map to the meet:
To the Meet from I-55, I-44:
Take I-55/I-44 into Illinois to the Rt.203 Granite City exit.
Take Rt. 203 past racetrack, over viaduct through Madison, past QuikTrip store, and Rt. 203 will curve to the right.
Stay on Rt. 203, crossing railroad tracks at Granite City Steel. Go to stop light at 20th street, turn left onto 20th street .
Take 20th aprox 1 mile, into downtown, to a 6 way instersection (20th, Edison, and Neidringhaus). The old YMCA will be on the right. Turn left 45 deg. onto Neidringhaus.
Follow Neidringhaus 1 mile over train tracks and past yet another Steel Plant (American Steel) to Rt. 3 and the stop light. At Rt. 3 you will be facing The River's Edge entrance.
Enter, and take the first left, which is 1st street, follow this road until you reach warehouse 3 (They are gigantic). We will be at 1st and D street. Our warehouse will be 3F (Just stay on 1st street, and drive parallel to warehouse 3 until you come to 3F)
From the Interstate, you are 5-10 minutes from the meet site.
To the Meet from I-270:
If coming from Missouri Take I-270 East to Rt. 3 South.
Follow Route 3 South 3-4 miles to Neidringhaus. There will be a stop light and the River's Edge Entrance will be on the right.

From the meet site to the Ramada Inn:
At Rt. 3 & River's Edge exit, turn left onto Rt. 3, take Rt. 3 to I-270. Take I-270 East to Rt. 111. Take Rt. 111 South to the meet hotel. Aprox drive time will be 10 minutes.

In it's 5th year, the River's Edge began as the replacement for the long running Central USA that ran for 14 years. We expect 2009 to be as big as ever, even bigger than the previous year's 60 lifter event. WE ARE PLANNING FOR TWO PLATFORMS!
