Lifters of the USA...start your training! The crown jewel of USA Powerlifting, the Mens Open, Teenage and Junior National Championships, will be in Orlando, FL!

Dear USA Powerlifting Member:
Greetings!
It is my pleasure to announce the 30th Annual USAPL Men’s Teenage/Junior/Open National Powerlifting Championships will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel at the Orlando International Airport in Orlando, Florida on June 22-24, 2012. I have attached a contest application for your review.

I have placed this year’s National Championship in a location with the highest degree of convenience for you and your family members, especially taking into consideration those that may be on a tight time schedule/travel budget. The Hyatt Regency Hotel is [connected] directly to the Orlando International Airport and is rated five stars. Also, the Hyatt Hotel is located just 15 minutes away from all of the Disney Theme Park Attractions. Specially priced Disney Theme park tickets for the USA Powerlifting Group will be offered before and during the championship.

As a reminder, please take note of the deadlines for your contest entry form and hotel reservations -- June 01, 2012. Please do not wait until the deadline to make your hotel reservations at the Hyatt. The room block will surely be sold out by this date.

The contest equipment for the championship will be of an international caliber and will include five [5] ER/Combo squat/bench press racks and five [5] calibrated Ivanko bars/weights in the warm-up room. Eleiko bars and weights and racks will be on the main competition platform. The Marksteiner Nextlifter computerized scoring system will be used to direct and calculate both the individual and team scoring for the competition.

Finally, this event will serve as an official qualifier for the USA Sub-junior, Junior and Open USA Powerlifting Teams! Please take advantage of this opportunity.
