The lifter's for the 1st Popeye Open were great. A lot of new faces were getting totals to get into the Raw National's. The meet was smooth and fast for a small group everyone came to move some Iron. Special Thanks goes out to Power Body USA Fitness Gym again for helping and having the meet at their place!! Chuck and Carla Trosper are the best hosts!! They did a great job the Power Body guys loaded all the weights for us the day long!!!!! Also a special thanks to the Harold Gaines crew for coming out and judging and announcing. Thanks guys, great job!

Chris O'Toole was the Best Lifter of the day coming out of retirement and was 7 for 9. Trent Janes also picked up the iron again going 8 for 9. Everyone else was new to Powerliftering. Great job by all!! Kimberly Gaines did a find job after having ankle problems before the meet!!! She went 7 for 9. Yeh part of the Harold Gaines group!!!
Brock L. and Jake M. showed us what it's like to be young and powerful, brought the crowd to their feet a couple times thru out the day! Dan winter stepped up to the platform and had a good day!! Cory Mueller put up some fine numbers also going 6 for 9.
